Through self-hypnosis, breathing and visualisation techniques, HypnoBirthing® teaches you to release fear and to trust your body’s ability to birth instinctively — an empowering experience for mothers, an informed and active role for partners, and a reassuring welcome for babies.
A holistic program of about 12.5 hours, ideally followed with your birth partner.
The program prepares you
- Mentally — laws of the mind, self-hypnosis, deep and instant relaxation, positive affirmations and visualisations
- Physically — physiology of birth, hormones and the nervous system, nutrition, perineum care, optimal baby positioning, breathing
- Bonding — techniques to strengthen the connection with your baby and release fears
- Your environment — birth preferences, communicating with the medical team, myths and truths of medical protocol
- Your partner’s role — how to support you and activate the tools learnt, on the day
